James Curleigh is Levi Strauss & Co.’s newest Levi’s-brand president, according to Women’s Wear Daily. He’ll also serve as a companywide executive vp. The longtime retail executive joins the company after more than four years with footwear retailer Keen Inc. (Portland, Ore.). He succeeds Robert Hanson, who accepted a position with American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (Pittsburgh) in January.

In addition, Joelle Maher was promoted to executive vice president of Levi’s, as well as the company’s president of global retail. She will manage online and offline retail operations, including franchise and outlet stores, in her new role.
