Pacsun Opens “Pacsun Kids”

Pacsun (Los Angeles) opened a Pacsun Kids store at the Mall of America (Minneapolis) November 4, according to a press release. The location is attached to its existing adult location already located in the mall.

Set at 1435 square feet, the store was designed without gender in mind and offers a range of apparel for kids, ages 4-14 years old. Five more locations are already planned for 2022 and will also feature apparel from partnered brands like Adidas, Fear of God ESSENTIALS, Santa Cruz, Champion, Vans and Land Rover, among others.

Several livestreams and pop-ups organized by the company helped promote the latest concept opening. The retailer says it plans to host more livestreams via its Brea Mall and Cerritos, Calif. stores, which are both locations for upcoming Pacsun Kids stores.

Brie Olson, President at Pacsun, says, “At Pacsun, we want our consumers to be free to express themselves and choose what they want to wear without boundaries, which was the driving factor behind introducing our Pacsun Kids label, completely without gender. Expanding our offerings at the store level at Mall of America, where we’ve offered our main collection for years, was very important to us to continue empowering our youngest consumers yet to pick what they want from a Pacsun label and store created just for them.”
