IF ANY COMMUTER PASSING through Penn Station finds themselves particularly thirsty, The Bar at Moynihan (New York) – conveniently located in the city’s renowned Moynihan Train Hall – offers a variety of draft beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails. Situated in the center of the 25,000-square-foot food hall, the bar features dark walnut and polished brass, creating an elegant ambience.

The wrap-around bar top and surrounding area provides plenty of seating and room for guests to gather. A variety of liquor bottles are aesthetically arranged on elevated shelving and accentuated by illumination, creating an eye-catching focal point.

The lighting throughout the bar and food hall was designed by CBB (Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design; New York) and supports the overall classy yet approachable feel – which is further supported by the incorporation of various high-end materials and a range of moody hues.

After three years of construction, Moynihan Train Hall is a new extension of Penn Station and acts as an epicenter, connecting people to Hudson Yards, Manhattan’s Far West Side and beyond. Additionally, the food hall inside of Moynihan is home to a curated selection of eateries, with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced and high-quality foods.
