Saks Introduces New Off 5th Model

Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th (New York) is opening a new 28,000 square-foot store at the new Cincinnati Premium Outlets (Monroe, Ohio), which debuts this week. The store will be the ninth to feature the modern new “luxury in a loft” environment, which includes a bright and uncluttered layout with no hard aisles and one consistent hard-surface floor throughout. All fixtures are on casters, ensuring ease of movement, and all hardware will be interchangeable between fixtures. The store will carry expanded key merchandise categories, including fine jewelry, shoes, handbags, sunglasses and contemporary sportswear.

“Opening this new store in Monroe will enable us to bring the enhanced Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th experience to the local and tourist populations of Cincinnati and Dayton, while giving us the opportunity to be part of a remarkable retail community,” says Robert Wallstrom, president of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th. “In this environment, shoppers are incredibly cost-conscious yet still aspire to exclusive labels and brands. We will continue to meet their needs by offering premium value, style and an impressive selection.”

Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th offers value-priced designer clothing and accessories at 54 stores in 23 states. The Monroe location is the fifth new store to open in 2009, with additional locations scheduled for later this year.
