Saks, Manolo Blahnik Collaboration

Saks Fifth Avenue (New York) has opened a permanent, in-store boutique exclusively featuring the Manolo Blahnik (London) brand.

The 760-square-foot boutique is located on the store’s eighth floor in its 10022-Shoe designer shoe salon and is one of the largest Manolo Blahnik boutiques in the world.

The boutique is comprised of two rooms, the first of which was designed to look like a woman’s boudoir, complete with an antique Murano chandelier. Custom metal and mother-of-pearl screens separate the boudoir from the second room – a sitting room – which features a wall made from Venetian glass. The boutique also features “textural plaster and quirky custom furniture,” according to a press release.
