Sears Names New Head of Grand and Essentials Concepts

Sears Holdings Corp. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) has named Julie Younglove-Webb senior vp and general manager of Sears Essentials and Sears Grand, two of its newest retail concepts.

Younglove-Webb will oversee all new-store development, store operations and merchandising for the two off- mall formats, reporting directly to Aylwin Lewis, president of Sears Holdings and ceo of Kmart and Sears Retail. (As previously announced, Lewis will become ceo and president of Sears Holdings on Sept. 30, 2005.)

Younglove-Webb previously served as vp, space planning, for Kmart stores, where she directed store refurbishment. She joined Kmart Corp. (Troy, Mich.) in 1999, as team manager.
