American Eagle signs lease for large flagship store in New York

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (Pittsburgh) has reportedly has signed a multi-year lease for more than 25,000 square feet of retail space on Broadway and 46th Street in Manhattan's Times Square. That would make the new flagship store the company's largest in the world.

According to a report by Chain Store Age, the property will comprise three levels of retail space for AEO brands, including American Eagle and aerie, the company's intimates and dorm wear line. The store will also feature more than 15,000 square feet of external multi-media signage rising 25 stories high.
