Christian Davies to present at this year’s FMI Retail Store Development conference

Christian Davies, creative director of the specialty brands studio at FRCH Design Worldwide (Cincinnati), will be addressing the food retailing industry.

Davies, a regular columnist for VM+SD and an annual keynote speaker at the magazine’s International Retail Design Conference (IRDC), will address the Food Marketing Institute’s Retail Store Development conference, Oct. 23-25, 2005, in San Francisco. He will offer a review of the changes large format food retail will need to make to stay ahead of the curve.

“The challenges facing the supermarket today have never been greater,” Davies says. “In a world where an increasingly demanding consumer is craving meaningful in-store experiences at every turn and where establishing emotional connections with them is becoming table stakes, the bar is being set very high.”
