Two for Too

Too Inc. names two new divisional president-general managers

Too Inc. (New Albany, Ohio) has named James Petty president and general manager of Limited Too and Sally Boyer as president and general manager of Too's new concept.

Boyer will be responsible for all planning, allocation, marketing, store operations and merchandising and design for the new, unidentified concept. She joined Limited Too in 1991 as a senior planner after having been a merchandise planner with Limited Too's former parent, The Limited, beginning in 1989. She was promoted to director, planning and distribution in 1993; to vp, planning and distribution in 1995; to vp, merchandising operations in 1998; to senior vp, merchandising operations in 2000. In February 2001, she was named executive vp, planning, allocation and merchant operations, and became the company's president of merchandising in August 2002.

Petty, who will be responsible for merchandising, design, marketing, planning and allocation and store operations for Limited Too, joined the company as vp of stores in 1997, following a 13-year career in store management and operations with The Gap (San Francisco) and its subsidiaries. He was promoted to senior vp of stores for Too Inc. in 2000 and executive vp, stores and realty, in August 2002.
