VM+SD Honors New York

Saks, Macy’s, Cartier receive visual excellence awards

VM+SD honored Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s Herald Square and Cartier’s Fifth Avenue store with its annual Excellence in Visual and Design/New York award. VM+SD New York editor Eric Feigenbaum and associate publisher Kristin Godsey presented the awards earlier this week at the PAVE Gala in New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

The award honors New York retailers who’ve consistently done an outstanding job during the year in visual presentation, windows displays and store environment. On hand to receive their crystal apples were Tim Wisgerhof of Saks, Paul Olszewski of Macy’s and Raymond Mastrobuoni, who retired this year after 40 years at Cartier.
