VMSD Names New Editor

ST Media Group Intl. Inc. (Cincinnati), parent company of VMSD,  has named Patricia Sheehan editor-in-chief of the magazine. She will also be in charge of the brand’s other properties, including  the web site, weekly VMSD Pulse electronic newsletter and the International Retail Design Conference (IRDC).

Sheehan will report to Steve Duccilli, ST Media’s svp of content.

Prior to joining ST Media Group, Sheehan held senior editorial positions with the Vendome Group, Questex Media and Penton Media, on such titles as Hotel Design, Lodging Hospitality, Restaurant Hospitality, Penton’s Designing and, most recently, Long-Term Living. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.

“As VMSD’s new editor-in-chief, I look forward to advancing the mission of this legacy brand to present the latest innovative projects, ideas, news and products in retail design,” Sheehan said. “My background in B2B design and hospitality publishing should serve me well as I join VMSD’s talented team of editors and marketing staff to grow the brand through its print, digital and event platforms.”
