Walmart Pulls Fake Yeezy Kicks from Site

Walmart (Bentonville, Ark.) has pulled its “fake adidas Yeezy foam runners” from its web site following a lawsuit Kanye West and the Yeezy brand, reports Hypebeast.

The shoes, which sold for between $23.99 and $24.49, were reportedly an exact duplication of Yeezy’s proprietary design, which retails for $80. “We take allegations like this seriously and are reviewing the claim. We will respond in court as appropriate after we have been served with the complaint,” said a Walmart spokesperson, who explained the shoes were being offered by a third party via the Walmart web site.
