Home furnishings retailer West Elm (Brooklyn, N.Y.), a member of the Williams-Sonoma Inc. family of brands, is expanding on the West Coast with a new location in California's South Coast Plaza. The store will open in early November and will feature a three-sided living wall and will be the first West Elm to open with a West Elm Market shop-in-shop.
“We also couldn’t be more excited to introduce West Elm Market to the South Coast customer in our first shop-in-shop,” says Jim Brett, president of West Elm. “The assortment is full of clever, hard-working, time saving, clutter-busting solutions for everyday living.”
The new market concept is organized into four key categories – Kitchen, Garden, Care & Repair and Personal Care – with products such as kitchen tools, enameled cast iron Dutch ovens and pans, handcrafted candles and soaps and artisan pantry products.
Through a partnership with Etsy, the store will also feature a collection of decorative accessories and art made by artists from the Orange County area, as well as an assortment of green products, including organic cottons, recycled glass, FSC-certified wood and handcrafted products.
Williams-Sonoma Inc. operates 579 stores and e-commerce sites under the Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm, Williams-Sonoma Home and Rejuvenation banners.
