Whisbi brings a visual 'store experience' to the world of online shopping via real-time video

Can you imagine a world where sales assistants are wearing smart glasses, sharing a real 'store experience' with online customers in real time, as if they had been there in that very moment?

Whisbi’s new omnichannel Software as a Service technology is the only solution on the market that, in one click, automatically ‘teleports’ online visitors to physical stores or a showroom. Customers can see the merchandising via real-time video, literally through the ‘eyes’ of the sales representatives who are wearing smart glasses such as Google Glass, Epson Moverio or using the camera of an Android device.

Web visitors are invited to enjoy this enhanced experience by clicking on a Call-to-Action button integrated into the retailer’s website.

Online customers can enjoy this genuine, personalized ‘store experience’ independent of where they are; may they be out on the streets with a smartphone, relaxing on their couch while shopping around on a tablet or sitting in front of a computer. They do not need any plug-in or software and it works on any browser and device. This makes sure that retailers can reach 100% of online users even if their bandwidth is poor.

Beforehand, aspects like 'store design' or 'visual merchandising' were irrelevant in the world of online shopping. Now, thanks to Whisbi, retailers can 'take' their web visitors to any physical place that best fits their brand and business objectives. It can be a specially designed showroom otherwise close to the public, a small branded corner, a pop-up shop or a regular store. Showcasing physical products as they are, in their 'natural' environment – a whole new perspective in e-commerce.

After rolling out the first European projects, the solution is now globally available.
