May Co. renovating 30,000 square feet of Chestnut Hill store

May Department Stores (St. Louis) will be renovating 30,000 square feet of its Filene's store at The Mall at Chestnut Hill (Mass.), to be completed before the end of the month. The Echeverria Design Group (Coral Gables, Fla.) has been hired to perform architectural, space planning and interior design services.

The fast-track work will concentrate on the store's better women's ready-to-wear, juniors and women's shoes departments.
