JC Penney (Plano, Texas) will be the retail partner for two new lines of Disney merchandise this fall, debuting on September 8.

Disney's “It's A Small World After All” collection for infants and toddlers, created exclusively for Penney, will feature caricatures of children from various backgrounds and cultures around the world on apparel and bedding for the nursery. Inspired by the attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the theme will appear on a variety of children's clothing such as overalls, jumpers, vests, tee shirts and accessories including luggage, caps and umbrellas. In the upcoming weeks, Halloween and winter holiday styles will be introduced as well.

In addition, Penney will feature another Disney apparel line, sportswear and sleepwear for infants and toddlers, featuring such characters as Winnie the Pooh, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Buzz Lightyear.

These new lines will be in a focal position in the children's and infant's departments. Special 4-way wood fixturing will feature brand panels for the line. New banners, balloons and various promotional items will also adorn the department.

JC Penney Co. operates nearly 1080 department stores in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Mexico. In addition, the company runs 50 Renner department stores in Brazil, and approximately 2650 Eckerd drugstores throughout the U.S. JC Penney catalog and e-commerce is the nation's largest merchant of general merchandise.
