LVMH Goes West

European brands firm opens three California locations

LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has been busy expanding on the West Coast, recently, opening two Louis Vuitton “global-concept” stores and a Celine boutique in California.

A 7200-square-foot Louis Vuitton unit opened in San Francisco's DFS Galleria building on Union Square. The company also unveiled a new Celine boutique in the same Geary Street building. An in-house architectural team designed the 1300-square-foot unit in the style of the company's New York flagship on Madison Avenue, which features a clear glass storefront, a dramatic lighting scheme and wood elements. A 5500-square-foot global unit opened at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif., as well.
