Starbucks Coffee Co. (Seattle) has announced the appointment of DavidChichester as senior vp of finance. In this newly created position, hisresponsibilities will include accounting, treasury, risk management,corporate development and tax functions.

Prior to joining Starbucks, Chichester served as vp and cfo of Red RoofInns and Hecklers Online Inc., and has been employed by Marriott Corp.and G.E. Credit Corp. “David brings strong leadership skills andexceptional experience in corporate financial management to Starbucks,”noted vp of Starbucks, Michael Casey.
