Former Vitamin Shoppe exec joins Talbots

Talbots (Hingham, Mass.) Inc. named Michael Archbold, formerly of the Vitamin Shoppe and Saks Fifth Avenue, its new ceo and cfo. The move comes just days after the women’s wear retailer was acquired by a private equity firm for $391 million, the Boston Herald reports. Archbold is also a board member of Express Inc.
