New executive spent years as creative director for Theory

Under Armour (Baltimore) has named Leanne Fremar senior vp and executive creative director for women’s wear, according to Women’s Wear Daily, which also notes that the company is trying to increase its appeal to women with gear for yoga, spinning and barre classes.

Fremar will be based in New York and brings 10 years of experience with contemporary apparel brand Theory to her new position, which she will begin in mid-November, according to WWD.
