H&M Enters India

Flagship store opening in October

H&M (Stockholm, Sweden) announced that it will be opening its first store in India next month. The store will be located in Saket, New Delhi’s Select Citywalk mall, and the opening is set for Oct. 2.

The 25,000-square-foot store will span two floors and will feature the H&M Studio AW’15 women’s collection that was showcased at Paris Fashion week. It also plans to showcase other anticipated collections in the future, including a holiday collection starring Katy Perry and a collaboration with Balmain.

This opening marks the 60th market for the company, as it expands globally. The company has plans to open a second store in New Delhi later this year and as many as 30 throughout India next year, reports the Business Standard.
