Virgin Mobile Launches Flagship in Chicago

New prepaid-wireless store in Lincoln Park

Virgin Mobile, a prepaid cell phone carrier owned by Sprint (Overland Park, Kan.), is opening a flagship store in Chicago’s upscale Lincoln Park neighborhood, the Chicago Tribune reports. The casual, pop-up-like store’s props include a crate of records, floor cushions and a vintage red trunk made into a coffee table. The company told the Tribune that it plans to open 14 additional kiosks in Chicago by the end of this month.
