With a dip of 0.2 percent in April, retail sales are down in Australia, the Sydney Morning Herald reports. Sales declines included a 1 percent drop in department store trade, according to the Economic Times. Economists initially forecast a 0.2 percent increase in sales for April, despite known weakness in the country’s retail sector.
