New Zealand-based Merino wool company Icebreaker is opening a second Manhattan location. The 1300-square-foot store, at 823 Washington St., is located in the city’s Meatpacking District, and is expected to open by the end of the month. The 18-year-old apparel company’s first New York store opened in the SoHo neighborhood.

“The Meatpacking District is a chic and exciting neighborhood with fantastic energy,” says Jeremy Moon, founder and ceo, Icebreaker, reports Crain’s Business New York.

In addition to the two New York locations, the Wellington, New Zealand-based retailer operates additional U.S. stores in Portland, Ore., and San Francisco.
