Neiman Marcus Overhauls Beverly Hills Store

Near completion on the 2.5-year renovation

Neiman Marcus (Dallas) is in the final phase of the renovation of its 134,000-square-foot Beverly Hills store that lasted about two and a half years. The renovation was guided by a desire to make the store feel like a home away from home, with customer research informing each step along the way.

For instance, the company added facial rooms and a private event space to its beauty department and various “residential areas” throughout the store where customers can gather and where associates can get to know the clients better. In other departments, the store created shop-in-shop environments for different brands, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

“It feels like you’re going from shop to shop,” said Gretchen Pace, the store’s vice president and general manager. “You really feel the brands much more than you used to.”
