Looking for the most up-to-date list of the top retail design firms? Check out our 2013 Retail Design Firm Resource Guide.

The Top 50 Fixture Manufacturers list is based on 2004 fixture sales provided by manufacturers who responded to our fax survey. It contains 52 names this year — all companies that reported sales of $5 million or more.

The survey was sent to more than 1200 fixture manufacturers, culled from the VM+SD Buyers’ Guide, in-house databases and industry directories. All information presented on the following pages was provided by the companies. Manufacturers that did not disclose sales were not considered for the Top 50 rankings, but are part of the alphabetical listing on page 66.

Though sales figures were used to gauge companies’ rankings as fixture producers, VM+SD recognizes that market objectives are not always uniform and that size doesn’t always determine a company’s contribution to or impact on the industry. We also recognize that some large manufacturers did not respond to our survey.
