Holland & Holland on Hold

Surfacing stuck in customs, delays SoHo opening

A 1000-square-foot Holland & Holland (London-based apparel company) is rescheduled to open on SoHo's Wooster Street on Dec. 16.

The boutique (that will carry both men's and women's Jose Levy-designed sportswear) was slated to open 10 days prior. However, the gouged Wenge wood, specified for the shop's walls was reportedly delayed in U.S. customs.

The store will celebrate the new location with a grand opening party during New York Runway week in February. Holland and Holland operates flagship stores in New York as well as Paris and London, and its sportswear is sold in certain Saks Fifth Avenue stores.
