Galyan's Trading Co., a sporting goods chain, used the company's recycled wood flooring to demonstrate its “green streak,” as well as capture an outdoorsy feeling in its Gaithersburg, Md., store. Aged Woods sells wood flooring made from recycled barn wood gathered from the Mid-Atlantic region and some Southern states. After it's retrieved, the wood is kiln-dried and precision milled.
