American Apparel, the vertically integrated clothing manufacturer based in downtown Los Angeles, has opened the doors to a new store in Busan, South Korea. The 2312 square-foot location is in the Busanjin-gu district in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea.

“On the strength of our sales in this market, it made sense to capitalize on the opportunity in Korea,” says said Marsha Brady, a creative director for American Apparel. “The people of Busan are stylish and fashionable and have always been avid consumers of our products, so we are excited to serve their needs with this retail location.”

The Busan store joins four other Korean locations, all located in Seoul.
