U.S. retailer Ann Taylor has expanded into Canada, opening its first international location at Toronto’s Eaton Centre.

Ann Taylor spokesman Andrew Taylor said the retailer sees Canada as a great market and it was a natural first step. “We're really excited by the growth opportunities in expanding beyond the United States, and we think Ann Taylor enjoys strong consumer awareness here — and demand,” Taylor told Canadian Business. “So, the store opening is a wonderful opportunity for us.”
