Apple Products Return to Costco

Chain offering deeply discounted iPhone

Costco (Issaquah, Wash.) is once again retailing Apple products, ending a four-year absence that was the result of a reported pricing disagreement between the two companies. Last weekend, Costco debuted an exclusive iPhone 5s, a discounted 16GB model with a two-year contract, starting at $77.99, much less than the $199 price tag at wireless retailers.

Costco is also now carrying iPod Touches, iPad Nanos, iTunes Gift Cards, Wi-Fi iPad Airs and iPad Minis, though these non-cellular devices are discounted by only $15 to $50, according to the International Business Times. Costco has also attained Apple Authorized Reseller status, which means Apple products purchased through Costco carry all of Apple’s standard warranty benefits.
