Scott White takes exec role for "New Avon" division

Beauty and household retailer Avon Products Inc. (New York) has announced new leadership for its “New Avon” division. Scott White has been named the newest executive for the company’s U.S. and Canadian operations.

Fortune reports the company sold an 80.1 percent stake of the company in the North American division to Cerberus Capital Management (New York), which has been named “New Avon.”

White, a veteran of Proctor & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati) and Abbott Laboratories (Lake Bluff, Ill.) will be tasked with helping the brand regain sales. He will move into his role this week, replacing CEO Sheri McCoy.
