Beaufurn Introduces Queue Modular Seating

Beaufurn, the manufacturer of fashion-forward, functional designs, introduces the Queue Modular Lounge System.  The endless variety of configurations and sizes allow designers to invent the shape that works best for their space.  The breadth of possible combinations redefines the expression “form follows function.”

Constructed entirely of structural, high density foam, the Queue Modular seating system is not only enormously comfortable but provides the ultimate in flexibility.  Using seven geometric shapes, including round, half round, curve, rectangle and triangle, the collection comprises 29 standard pieces in sizes ranging from 20″ x 20″ to 60″ x 30″.  For easy assembly and reconfiguration, the consistent seat height for all items is 17 1/2″, back height is 30″ and arm height is 25″.  For operational integrity seating units are ganged using heavy duty, zinc-plated, steel connectors and adjustable glides solve any issues created by uneven flooring.

Available in any of Beaufurn's graded fabrics or COM, these fully upholstered component pieces can be ordered in multiple fabrics incorporating the colorways of the space to create sculptural seating.  Queue is perfect for all types of public spaces from hotel lobbies and corporate reception areas, to libraries, universities, museums, malls and airports.

Beaufurn's president Bill Bongaerts stated, “We are very pleased with the subtle, undulating effect the curved pieces evoke.  There's both symmetry and serenity in the flowing and rounded modules.  The rectangular and square elements can be used as the building blocks of a more rectilinear layout.  If designers don't find the sizes or shapes desired within the array of existing components, we can manufacture custom pieces to meet any need or application.”
