Benetton Veteran to Head Comptoir des Cotonniers

Nathalie Schneider will be retail director for Uniqlo stablemate

Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. (Yamaguchi, Japan), parent company of the Uniqlo retail chain, has named Benetton veteran Nathalie Schneider to manage one of its other brands, Comptoir des Cotonniers.

Schneider’s title will be international retail director.

At The Benetton Group SpA (Milan),she was sales and retail director for Northern Europe. Previously, she spent 14 years at Levi Strauss & Co. (San Francisco) serving in several managerial positions, most notably the brand’s managing director for France, its overseas territories and departments and French-speaking African countries.

Though Uniqlo is Fast Retailing’s best-known division, it also owns Link Theory and Princesse Tam Tam, along with Comptoir des Cotonniers.
