BHS Intl. to Expand

BHS Intl. (London) will expand internationally as its Qatari owners close deals with three franchise partners.

The brand hopes to expand in 10 new countries across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, reports the Retail Gazette. BHS currently operates 61 stores in 14 countries including Russia, Malta, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

“Under the new owners, we have ambitious plans to accelerate this growth and working closely with new and existing franchise partners, [and] we are confident we can do this; since the new international business was formed in June, we have secured agreements with new partners in new territories and are in discussions with many others,” said BHS Intl. Managing Director David Anderson.
