Its first U.S. flagship, second standalone store slated for SoHo

This weekend, Canada Goose (Toronto) will open its first store in the U.S., which will also be the company’s second bricks-and-mortar store. Its first store opened a few weeks ago in Toronto.

The U.S. store will open in New York’s SoHo neighborhood.

The 4000-square-foot store will feature more than 3500 pieces of merchandise, though it will only stock one size of each style on the sales floor to avoid cluttering the space with inventory, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Additional sizes will be housed off the sales floor where sales associates can access.

The space features a single piece of marble weighing more than 4000 pounds, which functions as the store’s reception area. It also has soapstone-carved polar bears from aboriginal artist Jason Carter and custom seating by Canadian brand Montauk Sofa (Montreal).
