Carter & Burgess Names Director of Retail Stores

Budetti to join firm's Orange County, Calif., office

Robert Budetti, an architect with considerable retail experience, has joined the Costa Mesa, Calif., office of Carter & Burgess, Ft. Worth, Texas-based architecture and store design firm. Budetti was named director of retail stores with the firm's retail and distribution unit.

Previously director of retail with the Newport Beach, Calif., office of MBH Architects (Alameda, Calif.), Budetti has designed and built stores for Old Navy, Mission Jewelers, Target, Mervyn's, Schubach Jewelers, Best Buy, Zany Brainy, Hatfield Jewelers, Pottery Barn, Barry's Jewelers, Rite Aid, Denny's, Black Eyed Pea Restaurants and Bristol Farms. He also has worked closely with local, regional and national developers and design firms such as J. h. Snyder, The Jerde Partnership International, Macerich, Lundin Development, SyWest Development, MMI Realty, Hughes Development, RREEF and Cahan Properties.
