Chicago to Welcome First Athleta Store

Athleta (Petaluma, Calif.) will bring its first activewear store to Chicago next month, reports the Chicago Tribune. The 3800-square-foot store will be located on North Southport Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood.

The brand, which is part of Gap Inc., began rolling out stores in June 2010 and has expanded to 10 locations in California, New York, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. Two more stores, in Houston and Manhasset, N.Y., are also expected to open this spring.
