British designer Christopher Kane (London) has opened his first bricks-and-mortar store.

The 4100-square-foot flagship, which opens today, is located on Mount Street in a late-19th-Century, Queen Anne revival style building. The two-floor unit features a mix of street and historic details, such as corrugated dressing-room walls covered in soft velvet fabric, neon Perspex display boxes and Portland stone floors, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

The shop was designed by Kane and the minimalist architect John Pawson, who famously designed the Calvin Klein Collection store in New York in the mid-'90s, reports WWD.
