Cole Haan Opens LA Store

Cole Haan (Greenland, N.H.) is rolling out its new store design and opened its first store on the West Coast featuring those elements. The new, 2500-square-foot store is located in Los Angeles.

The new design aims to make the store feel more like a home. Consequently, it has custom lighting and millwork for a residential feel and the aesthetics pull from various eras, mimicking the way most customers decorate their own homes. It also has removed the traditional cashwrap from the store, allowing associates to check customers out with a mobile p-o-s system, reports Women’s Wear Daily. The exterior of the LA store has also been updated, featuring a storefront of metal and glass.

Other stores that feature the new design have been opened in Tokyo, Dallas and New York. The company will soon debut the new design in its Miami store.
