David Jones infused a cranberry, grape and raspberry color palette into its 2005 Christmas celebration. In the food hall, raspberry colored “eat, drink and be merry” signage and floor graphics greeted shoppers. Food hall chefs held pyramids of tiered balls, while nearby, shelves teemed with holiday treats.

Judges enjoyed the modern nomenclature of the promotion. “I like how bold they were without being Christmas colors,” noted one.
