AWARD OF MERIT – IN-STORE SEASONAL PROMOTION
Valentine's Day 2005
Target,
multiple locations

For Valentine's Day, design firm Knock (Minneapolis) created an in-store signage and product line for Target stores inspired by those candy hearts now synonymous with the February 14 holiday.

Plastic bubbles housing photography of sweet treats hung from the ceiling, creating the illusion that they were filled with candy. Graphics of romantic couples and flirtatious kids rounded out the seasonal display, which was featured throughout the store.

Judges liked the layering effect of the images and the interesting props. “Target continues to do this really well,” one judge commented.
