Denver a Top Choice for Quick-Service Restaurants

QSR says city has high potential for growth in sector

QSR magazine named Denver the top largest U.S. market for quick-service restaurant growth potential in its annual “Growth 40” report.

“Denver has a lot of things going for it: population growth, a thriving business climate and a popular food and beverage scene,” says Sam Oches, editor of QSR. “And between 2011 and 2016, the city's quick-service traffic is expected to increase 11 percent. These and other factors will contribute to it being a popular destination for limited-service brands.”

Oches also cited footholds by Chipotle, Red Robin and Smashburger, along with a business-friendly climate, as factors in Denver’s potential for growth in this sector.
