Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were found guilty of tax evasion on Wednesday, along with five others, Women’s Wear Daily reports. Judge Antonella Brambilla sentenced the designer duo to one year and eight months in prison, a decision they are expected to appeal.

Prosecutors Gaetano Ruta and Laura Pedio requested that Domenico’s brother, Alfonso Dolce, along with Giuseppe Minoni, finance director, be sentenced two years in prison, while Luciano Patelli, accountant, be sentenced three years, as they considered him the primary organizer of the evasion, WWD reports. Others include Cristina Ruella, a board member and general director, facing two-and-a-half years, along with Antoine Noella, who is being absolved due to lack of evidence.
