Mannequins and Forms

Published

on

After many European springs of explosive colors, this season’s streets are filled with a softer, monochromatic palette. Silver and metallics are paired with whites, creams and other pastel tones. Country scenes are whitewashed, silver and gold objects reflect light, and transparent mannequins fit in perfectly with the overall airy atmosphere.

Window themes range from happy country fairs and picnic scenes to Oriental glamor and rock ‘n’ roll, using moving objects, blinking lights and sound to convey the message that spring is in the air.

Here’s a visual feast of displays that recently sprang to life in Europe.
