Consumer environments manufacturer idX Corp. (St. Louis) hired Deane Allinson as production manager of its new San Antonio division. He has extensive management experience in the store fixtures industry in the areas of production, operations, design development, project management, engineering and sales.

Family Dollar (Matthews, N.C.) plans to open 300 new stores by the end of August. The discount store chain operates 6900 stores across the U.S.

DK Display Corp. (New York) owner David Terveen recently rang the bell for the opening of the New York Stock Exchange.

Digital signage software solutions provider C-nario (Tel Aviv, Israel) implemented its digital signage software platform C-nario Messenger in the main showroom of Elektra, a Spanish chain of electric appliances and kitchen furniture. The system will also be implemented in the coming months in 17 branch stores of the chain.
