Big Red Rooster (Columbus, Ohio, retail design firm) has appointed Craig Kavicky to vp, sales.

Clear Thinking Group LLC (Hillsborough, N.J., provider of consulting services for retail companies) has promoted Maxine Turner to manager of the turnaround and crisis management group, Denise Engelhardt to senior consultant of the creditors rights practice group and Joe Marchese to senior consultant of the turnaround and crisis management practice group.

Awards:

VMA (Dayton, Ohio, design firm) has won two awards in the Dayton Advertising Club’s 2007 Hermes Awards, for its Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s “Zoo Fund 2006 Polar Frontier” logo and stationery and for its 50th anniversary calendar for Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm.

Transformit (Gorham, Maine, provider of tension fabric structures) has received the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum for “The Dynamics,” a proprietary system of rectilinear tension fabric frame components.
