Digital Signage Expo Heads to Vegas; RYA Hires Design Director; Milliken & Co. Lauded for Ethics

Management Changes:

RYA Design Consultancy (Dallas) has hired Donn Cherry as design director and promoted the following to associates: Amanda Bettge, Donna Coker, Hilary Gossett and Tom Lloyd.

EDG (San Rafael, Calif. restaurant design firm) announced president and founder Eric Engstrom will retire this summer. Succeeding him as president and principal owner will be ceo Jennifer Johanson. The company also promoted Patrick O’Hare and Nancy Kalter-Dills to senior associates.

Generation Brands (Cary, N.C., manufacturer of decorative lighting) has appointed Steve Harriott president of its Skokie, Ill.-based Encompass Lighting Group.

(Garden City, N.Y., lighting manufacturer) has appointed Chris Johnston western regional sales manager.

Expesite (Columbus, Ohio, provider of program and project management software) has been selected by women’s apparel retailer Coldwater Creek to help manage the opening of its retail stores, real estate development planning and new store construction.

Panasonic Systems Integration (Secaucus, N.J., division of Panasonic System Solutions Co., provider of electronic systems) has partnered with Adspace Mall Networks (New York provider of in-mall digital video advertising) to provide 826 high-definition plasma displays for 625 digital advertising kiosks, called “Smart Screens,” for installation at 54 Adspace Mall Network locations.

Milliken & Co. (Spartanburg, S.C., manufacturer of carpeting and other textiles) has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Magazine, a publication that highlights the correlation between ethics and profit.
