TPG Architecture (New York architectural and interior design firm) has promoted Barry Ludlow to the newly created post of principal for planning and design.

Barco Media (Logan, Utah, supplier of large-area display systems) has made the following appointments: Al Jensen, senior director of marketing; Chris Merrill, director of product management; Richard Pearson, senior director of project management; John Youngson, national sales manager in Canada; and Marc Van Eekeren, senior director of sales.

Shea Inc. (Minneapolis marketing design firm) has been hired to work on the design of LoTo, a new 9000-square-foot restaurant by David Fhima, owner of three other Minneapolis-area restaurants. LoTo is scheduled to open this summer in St. Paul, Minn.

3M Commercial Graphics (St. Paul, Minn., graphics firm) has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality-management systems.

MACtac (Stow, Ohio, manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesives) is expanding its plant in Columbus, Ind., by 130,000 square feet. An estimated 75 new jobs will be created when the facility opens later this year.
