Fresh & Easy Adds Another Bay City Store

San Francisco neighborhood has sought more fresh food options

Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market (El Segundo, Calif.) opened its second store in San Francisco. The new location is in the underserved Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood, which has not had a new grocery store open in the community in the past 20 years.

“Fresh and Easy is making more than just a business investment in the community, they are making an investment in health by providing access to fresh, high-quality food to a neighborhood that has historically lacked access to better options for generations,” said District 10 Supervisor Malia Cohen.

The grocery chain operates stores in Arizona, California and Nevada.
